The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Leonard Junior Jordan.
Mr. Leonard Junior Jordan, age 89 of Elkton, passed away on Tuesday, October 7th at his home.
Leonard was born February 23, 1936, in Todd County, Kentucky son of the late Leonard Lewis Jordan and Oma Powell Jordan.
He was a member of the Bethel Methodist Church and was retired from the Trane Company. He loved his family and enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting and watching a good Western movie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Robert, Chester, Sylvester, Johnny and Sherman Jordan and four sisters, Edith Lack, Lillian McGinnis, Mary Lucille Jordan and Della Henson. He is survived by his wife, Lois Jordan of Elkton; two sons, Gary Jordan (Emily) of North Carolina and Allen Jordan of Elkton; a daughter, Kimberly Tompkins (Keith) of Madisonville; a brother, Samuel Jordan of Portage, Indiana; a sister, Martha Boley of Elkton; six grandchildren, Daria Jordan of North Carolina, Jeremiah Jordan of North Carolina, Kallie Rowland of Russellville, Luke Jordan of Lexington, Kentucky, Kimber Tompkins of Madisonville, Anna Michel of Texas and five great grandchildren.
Visitation with the Jordan family will be on Saturday, October 11th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Freddie Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton.
