The Cook-Webb Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Ms. Lonetta Arms.
Ms. Lonetta Arms, age 84 of Guthrie, passed away on Wednesday, May 22nd at the Signature Healthcare in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Ms. Arms was born June 23, 1939, in Woodlawn, Tennessee daughter of the late Malcolm and Mamie Hewell Phillips and stepmother, Pearl Phillips.
She was a member of the Guthrie Methodist Church and retired from the Todd County Board of Education. She loved her family, cooking, playing Rook, flower gardening and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Carol Phillips, Waldo Phillips, Milton J. Phillips and Bobby Payne and one sister, Wanda McKeon. She is survived by one son, Roy Arms, Jr. and wife, Christy of Big Rock, Tennessee; one daughter, Cindy Eberlin and husband, Jay of Bowling Green, Kentucky; three brothers, Andy Phillips , Mack Phillips and wife, LeAnne and Wendy Phillips and wife, Carol all of Woodlawn, Tennessee; four sisters, Mildred Bellar of Guthrie, Becky Michaels and husband, Larry of Tupelo, Mississippi, Vinda Hunsicker and husband, Terry of Tupelo, Mississippi and Hollie Cody of Inman, South Carolina; a brother-in-law, Joe McKeon and a sister-in-law, Nell Phillips. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Visitation with the Arms family will be held on Tuesday, May 28th at the Guthrie United Methodist Church from 11:00 until service time at 1:00. Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 at the Guthrie United Methodist Church with Reverend Mark Carrigan officiating. Interment to follow at the Highland Cemetery.
