Maria Frances Hanson

The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mrs. Maria Frances Hanson.

Mrs. Maria Hanson, age 89 of Russellville, passed away on Sunday, February 5^th at her home of natural causes. 

She was born December 15, 1933 in Laredo, Texas daughter of the late Amador Martinez and Antonia Salinas. 

She was a CNA and worked many years in the medical field.  She loved her family, gardening and antiques. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Lee Hanson; two brothers, Amador Martinez and Terasito Martinez; one sister, Deloris Rodriguez and a grandson, Joshua Hanson.  She is survived by four sons, Wayne Hanson (Thelma) of Laredo, Texas, Steve Hanson of Russellville, Stanley Hanson (Kimberly) of Clarksville, Tennessee and Mike Hanson (Connie) of Adams, Tennessee; two daughters, Elsa Jones and Cynthia Craige both of Russellville; one brother, Juan Martinez of Laredo, Texas; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. 

It was the wish of Mrs. Hanson to be cremated. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the West Lawn Cemetery in Del Rio, Texas.
