Martha Bell Cowan

Martha Bell Hampton Cowan, age 96 of Elkton, passed away on Thursday, October 29^th at her home of natural causes.

She was born January 2, 1924 in Todd County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Pearl Bessie Smith Hampton.

She was a member of Britmart Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, loved her family and sewing.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Cowan; a brother Henry Hampton and a sister Bessie McGhee. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Robertson (Ralph) of Elkton; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be on Monday from 12:00 until funeral service time at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Robert Futrell officiating. Interment will follow at Todd County Meadow Haven.
