Mary Ann Lyon

The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mrs. Mary Ann Lyon. 

Mrs. Lyon, age 66 of Corydon, Kentucky and formerly of Todd County, passed away on January 6th at Lucy Smith King Care in Henderson, Kentucky. 

Mrs. Lyon was born May 27, 1957, in Illinois daughter of the late Nelson Lyle and Blanche Walker Pitsonbarger. 

She was a homemaker, loved her family, cooking and taking care of her home.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Lyle, Adam and Albert Pitsonbarger and one sister, Kathleen King.  She is survived by her husband, Ernest Lyon of Corydon, Kentucky; four sons, Ernest Lyon Jr. (Alicia) of Corydon, Kentucky, Josh Lyon of Cincinnati, Ohio, Matthew Lyon (Carla) of Evansville, Indiana and Joseph Lyon (Jennifer) of Corydon, Kentucky; four brothers, Donald Pitsonbarger of West Virginia, David Pitsonbarger of Evansville, Indiana, Jonathan and Danny Pitsonbarger both of Morganfield, Kentucky; one sister, Blanche Virginia Pitsonbarger of Evansville, Indiana; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.  

Visitation with the Lyon family will be held on Tuesday, January 9th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Reverend Melvin Byler officiating. Interment to follow at the Gant Cemetery in Sharon Grove.
