Melinda Neathery, age 59 of Elkton, passed away on Thursday, February 13th at the Medical Center in Bowling Green of natural causes.
She was born January 11, 1961 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky the daughter of William Lynch and Mildred Epley McIntosh.
She was a member of the New Union Baptist Church. She loved her family, friends, working in her yard and diamond art.
She was preceded in death by her father William Lynch; her stepfather Wayne McIntosh and a stepsister Judy Collins. She is survived by her life partner Nelson Carrender of Elkton; her son Joey Neathery of Elkton; her mother Mildred McIntosh of Russellville; a brother Mark Allen Lynch (Brittany) of Russellville; a sister Sheila Hazel (Moe) of Auburn and a stepbrother Randy McIntosh (Lisa) of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
Visitation with the Neathery family will be held on Sunday from 12:00 until funeral service time at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Blick officiating. Interment will follow at the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be given to the family or the funeral home to assist with funeral expense.
