Nettie Lee Quarles

Nettie Lee Quarles, age 61 of Guthrie, passed away on Saturday, November 21^st at her home of natural causes.

She was born November 10, 1959 in Springfield, Tennessee the daughter of the late Dallas Roland Henderson Sr. and Maggie Bell Tyler Henderson.

She was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. She worked at Flynn Enterprise for several years and then worked at Electrolux where she retired. She loved her family, friends, cooking and enjoyed playing bingo. She had a loving heart for everyone and she was loved by everyone who knew her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Jean Henderson and Mary Magdalene Galloway.  She is survived by her husband, Fredrick Quarles of Guthrie; two sons, Carlos “Mann” Osborne (Joy) of Clarksville, Tennessee and Amonzo Osborne (Nicole) of Allensville; three stepsons, Jordan Quarles of Guthrie, Kameron Artis of Indianapolis, Indiana and Quinice Cross of Clarksville, Tennessee; three stepdaughters, Ky'erra Artis, Lynda Quarles and Lauryn Quarles all of Indianapolis, Indiana; two brothers, Dallas Henderson Jr. (Diana) of Clarksville, Tennessee and Walter Henderson (Joyce) of Guthrie; two sisters, Ellen Williams (Emmitt) of Guthrie and Etta Lee Henderson of Hopkinsville; four grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and one great grandson.

Private funeral service on Saturday at 1:00 at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Guthrie with Reverend Shane Quarles officiating. Interment will follow at the Lester Chapel Cemetery in Guthrie.
