Ollie Elizabeth Kimbrough, age 88 of Allensville, passed away on Tuesday, September 8th at Creekwood Place in Russellville of natural causes.
She was born August 13, 1932 in Logan County, Kentucky the daughter of the late John and Mariah Davis Andrews.
She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, retired from Emerson Electric and loved her family.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Sherman Kimbrough Jr.; two sons Henry Wayne and Ray Kimbrough; three brothers Joe Andrews, Charles Frazier and Phillip Frazier Jr. and two sisters Georgia Bell Chambers and Lillie Pearl Woodard. She is survived by three sons Sherman Kimbrough III of Guthrie, Michael Kimbrough (Diana) of Bowling Green and George Kimbrough Jr. (Gloria) of Princeton; four daughters Shirley Hockaday (Leonard) of Conyers, Georgia, Sherran Stovall (William), Sarah Alexander (Ernest) and Katheryne Walker all of Allensville; twenty-three grandchildren, a host of great and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a special cousin Thelmus Davis Jr. of Nashville, Tennessee.
Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Johnson and Rev. Tommy Ligon officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Allensville.
Due to the Coronavirus (Covid19) there will be limited capacity. It is required that if you attend the visitation or service that you wear a mask and refrain from shaking hands and hugging as well as social distancing and keeping six feet apart.
