Patricia Ann Stokes, age 75 of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away in her sleep on August 1, 2023.
Patricia, fondly known as Patty, was born on February 16, 1948, to Evelyn Joyner & Leroy Grant in Kentucky. She was a strong-willed, no-nonsense, passionate, loving, and beautiful wife and mother. She lived a long, amazing life with her family and was a retired nurse. Patty had a vibrant personality which attracted so many people that loved her. She was a loving, loyal, and devoted wife to her husband for 42 incredible years of marriage, when you think of true love, you think of them.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as one sister, Doris Hawkins.
Patty is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Ricky Stokes; her son, Stephen Mullica; her daughters, Melissa Helpling, Kelly Newcomer (Wayne), and Tina Rundall (Pete); four grandchildren, Nichole Newcomer (Ronnie), James Adkins, Dorian Newcomer and Persephone Newcomer; four great grandchildren, Nathan Chute, Alex Newcomer, Liam Newcomer and Piper Newcomer. Also, she is survived by her close friend that is loved as a daughter, Karen Magana (Del).
Patty loved her family and her children. We are all blessed to have so many loving memories we all have made with her, and we will keep her alive forever in our hearts.
The Stokes family will receive friends on Sunday, August 20th from 12:00 until memorial service time at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Shane Hessey officiating.
We invite anyone who knew momma to come and remember her wonderful life. Any attendees that would like to bring any refreshments or dishes for the visitation are more than welcome to do so. Anything would be deeply appreciated.
