Paul "Bunion" Harrell

The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Paul “Bunion” Harrell.

On October 2, 2024, God dispatched the angels to earth and called his beloved child, Paul “Bunion” Harrell, age 67 of Elkton, Kentucky home to begin his new eternal life in Heaven.

Paul the twin to Pauletta was born on September 30, 1957 in Christian County, Kentucky to the late Sammie Lee Harrell and Willie E. Christian Harrell.

Paul accepted Christ at an early age and joined First Missionary Baptist Church. He loved going to church until his health no longer allowed him to go. Paul worked at Flynn Enterprise and did farm work until his health begin to fail him. He loved playing cards, dominoes, watching the Kentucky Wildcats basketball and football team as well as the Titans football team. He loved to cook for his family and friends, especially his nephews when they came to town from Indianapolis. They always wanted his fried chicken, fried apples and potato salad. Every Sunday Paul would cook dinner and made sure he cooked enough food for whoever came over to visit.

Paul leaves to cherish his memories, brothers, Sammie L. Harrell of Hopkinsville, James H. Harrell of Elkton and Van C. Harrell of Lithonia, Georgia; his twin sister, Pauletta Harrell and sister, Brenda Gordian and her husband & devoted brother-in-law, Manuel all of Elkton and his aunt that he loved so dearly, Arie Bell Harrell. He is also survived by a host of devoted nephews and nieces and loved his great nephew, Camden so, so much and Camden loved his uncle Paul unconditionally. His twin Pauletta was by his side every step of the way and his family took care of him until the Lord called him home.

Visitation with the Harrell family will be on Saturday, October 12th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Elkton with Pastor Phillip Suber officiating. Interment will follow at the Elkton-Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton.
