Obituary

Mrs. Peggy Wells, age 82 of Kirkmansville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 3^rd at the Owensboro Health Muhlenburg Hospital in Greenville of natural causes.

She was born April 12, 1939 in Evansville, Indiana daughter of the late Joseph and Martha Dodd Cheshire. 

She was a member of the Emberry Church and was retired from Thomas Industries. She loved her family and camping. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Wells; five brothers, Jack, John, Jerry, Joe and Tom Cheshire; one sister, Patsy Phillips and one grandson, Allen Mitchell.  She is survived by a son, Johnny Wells of Hopkinsville; two daughters, Rhonda Mitchell of Kirkmansville and Lisa Henderson of Hopkinsville; a sister, Gail Phillips of Evansville, Indiana; ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. 

Visitation with the Wells family will be held on Sunday from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home.  Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Monday at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at the Hale Cemetery in Hopkinsville.
