Penny Bostic

The Cook-Webb Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Ms. Penny Bostic. 

Ms. Penny Bostic, age 76 of Cedar Hill, Tennessee and formerly of Guthrie, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the Hillcrest Healthcare in Ashland City, Tennessee.  

Penny was born September 7, 1947, in Guthrie, Kentucky daughter of the late Oscar Elmer and Francie Horner Merritt. 

She was Baptist by faith. She loved her family, reading and playing cards.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Michelle Arms and three sisters, Carolyn Small, Linda Merritt and Candy Lee Merritt.  She is survived by one son, Michael Bostic (Adrienne) of Cedar Hill, Tennessee; one brother, Phillip Merritt of Guthrie; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  

It was the wish of Ms. Bostic to be cremated. The family will be holding a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
