The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Quenten Shantel Quarles.
Quenten Shantel Quarles, age 45 of Elkton, passed away on Sunday, May 21st at the Franciscan Health Care Center in Olympia Fields, Illinois.
Quenten was born January 2, 1978, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
He was a member and deacon of the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Guthrie. He loved his family and his work as an over the road truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, William Clarence Jackson. He is survived by his wife, Martina Quarles of Elkton; one son, Edwin Artis of Bowling Green; two daughters, Tiajauna Wallace of Pembroke and Makayla Artis of Elkton; his parents, Walter and Joyce Henderson of Guthrie; three sisters, Adrina Pace (Kelley) of Clarksville, Tennessee, Katrina Williams (James) of Clarksville, Tennessee and Jasmine Henderson of Guthrie; three grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation with the Quarles family will be on Friday from 12:00 until funeral service time at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Pastor Morrow officiating. Interment to follow at the Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery in Allensville.
