Raz Carlton Carr, age 89 of Guthrie, passed away on Tuesday, May 31st at NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, Tennessee of natural causes.
He was born September 20, 1932 in Olmstead, Kentucky the son of the late Carver and Cora Warden Carr.
He was a member of the Faith Outreach Church in Clarksville, Tennessee and was retired from Ardco. He loved his family, hunting, fishing and animals.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Edwards Carr and two brothers, Charlie and Clyde Carr. He is survived by three sons, Randy Carr (Tina) of Springfield, Tennessee, Rex Carr of Cedar Hill, Tennessee and Ronnie Carr of Bowling Green, Kentucky; one daughter, Rita Head of Guthrie; one sister, Jean Kemp of Greenville, Kentucky; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Cook-Webb Funeral Home in Guthrie. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday at 3:00 in the chapel of the Cook-Webb Funeral Home with Dr. David Evans officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Guthrie.
