Regina Carol Taylor was born in Logan County on April 23, 1963 and was called home on September 22, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Willie Frances Taylor who has preceded her in death and Roy Glenn Wells (Lillian). She was also preceded in death by her son, Korey Markey Taylor and a near and dear friend and partner Stanley Lunsford.
Regina Taylor attended Russellville High School and was a member of the class of 1982. She dedicated her life to Christ at a young age and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Russellville.
She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother to her daughter LaEboni Taylor who she adored. She was a humble soul and was loved by many. She enjoyed being around her family and she loved her family. She was always the LIFE of the party. Throw some music on and she was going to get up. She didn’t ask for nothing, never complained and always made do with what she had. She made me the STRONG WOMAN I am TODAY, and I THANK her for that. I don’t know WHO she was to you, but she was MY MAMA and I miss her, and I love her.
She goes on to leave behind: one daughter, LaEboni Taylor; two grandchildren, LaDarius and LaMichael Porter; three siblings, Deborah Taylor Spaulding (Frankie), Glenda Watkins and Donald Taylor; a step brother, Greg Grady and a special sister, Johnnie Taylor Rowe; an aunt, Lois Ann Taylor; an uncle, Sammie Taylor; eight nieces and nephews, Le’ Onta Nolan, Ameeshia Taylor, Taylor Daniel, Korey Watkins, D.J. Watkins, J.T. Taylor, Donovan Taylor and Dre Flippin; one great niece and one great nephew as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 30th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Fort and Rev. Eddie Bigbee officiating. Interment will follow at the Townsend Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Russellville.
