Mr. Richard Baker, age 75 of Franklin, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 21st at his home.
Richard was born July 23, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late Hubert Baker and Marilyn Lyons Baker.
He was a member of the Faith Independent Methodist Church and SAE Fraternity. He graduated from Madison High School and Middle Tennessee State University. Richard was a huge University of Tennessee Vols fan and loved his family and enjoyed cooking in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Connie Whitehurst Baker of Franklin, Tennessee; a daughter, Lindsay Lovvorn of Franklin, Tennessee; a brother, Danny Baker (Connie) of Joelton, Tennessee; a grandson, Baker Lovvorn of Franklin, Tennessee; a sister in law, Linda Whitehurst of Nashville as well as Brenda Gregory (Charlie) of Chicago, Illinois; a special niece, Kerri Walden of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the Baker family will be on Saturday, November 1st from 11:00 until Memorial Service time at 1:00 at the Faith Independent Methodist Church, 419 Ezell Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37210 with Shane Hessey officiating.
