Richard Lee Baldassarre

The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Richard Lee Baldassarre.  

Richard Lee Baldassarre, age 63 of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, December 29th at the Stone Crest Medical in Smyrna, Tennessee.

He was born September 10, 1959 in Florida the son of Jim Baldassarre and Joan Ivey. 

He loved his family and enjoyed fishing, playing cards, traveling, watching football and Nascar. He was very kind and giving and was always the life of the party.

He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Magnolia “Maggie” Baldassarre of Smyrna, TN; his mother, Joan Bingham of Mt. Juliet, TN; two sons, Adam Baldassarre (Amber) of Lebanon, TN and Drix Cruz of Smyrna, TN; two daughters, Amber Ewing (Tim) and Autumn Vincent (Josh) both of Murfreesboro, TN; two brothers, Jay Baldassarre of New York and Shane Bingham (Christy) of Mt. Juliet, TN; four sisters, Sherry Bader (Brett) of Florida, Missy Baldassarre (Paul) of New York, Jackie Taylor (Shawn) of Florida and Kim Willoughby of Smyrna, TN; four grandchildren, Spencer, Mackenzie, Raelynn and Blakely as well as several nieces and nephews.  

Visitation with the Baldassarre family will be held on Saturday, January 7th from 10:00 until memorial service time at 11:00 at the Victory Baptist Church, 1777 Tate Lane, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122 with Pastor Poly Rouse and Mark Copas officiating. Following the memorial service Big Rick’s Last Bash will be at the Score Board Bar and Grill, 2408 Music Valley Drive, Nashville, TN 37214.
