Ricky Donell Brooks, age 59 of Elkton, passed away on Wednesday, July 8th at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.
He was born January 12, 1961 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of Anna Lois Sebree.
At an early age Ricky accepted Christ as his Savior at Mt. Zion CME Church in Elkton. Later in life as a man he rededicated his life to Christ at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Elkton where he then sang in the male choir.

He went on to work for Ricchuite Enterprises and then he ended his work career with Todd County Funeral Home where he worked on the maintenance and grave service crew. He was certainly a jack of all trades.
He found the love for sports at a young age playing softball and football. He was a fan of the Washington Redskins, loved the Kentucky Wildcats and Nascar driver Dale Earnhart. Dominoes and corn hole were a favorite weekend family and friend’s pastime and he was the best that ever did it.
