The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Ricky Stokes.
Mr. Ricky Stokes, age 73 of Hopkinsville and formerly of Elkton, passed away on Saturday, May 18th at his home.
Mr. Stokes was born March 24, 1951, in Todd County, Kentucky son of the late Lucian and Lillie Smith Stokes.
He was a retired mechanic, loved his family, karaoke and watching Western television shows.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Stokes as well as three brothers, Norris Stokes, Charles Stokes and David Stokes. He is survived by four daughters, Kelly Jo and husband Wayne Newcomer of Clarksville, Tennessee, Tina and husband Pete Rundall of New Mexico, Melissa Helpling of Clarksville, Tennessee and Karen and husband Del Magana of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; one brother, Phil and wife Rita Stokes of Elkton; two sisters, Margaret Lack of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Sue and husband David Powell of Elkton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, James, Nichole, Dorian, Persephone, Bree, Elizabeth and Zoe as well as four great grandchildren.
Visitation with the Stokes family will be held on Friday, May 24th from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Memorial service is scheduled to be conducted at 7:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Shane Hessey officiating.
