The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Roy Gene Bertha.
Roy Gene Bertha, age 59 of Allensville, passed away on Monday, September 25th at Hearthstone Place in Elkton, Kentucky.
He was born May 31, 1964, in Elkton, Kentucky the son of MacElory and Rose Williams Bertha.
He was retired from Carpenters, and he loved his family and friends unconditionally.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Ligon. He is survived by his mother, Rose Bertha of Owensboro; two sons, Diwan Majors and Roy Majors both of Atlanta, Georgia; three daughters, TeCara Gonzalez (Carlos) of Bowling Green, Kalisha Boese (Mitch) of Chuluota, Florida and Demetria Rose of Russellville; four brothers, William Glenn Bertha, Leroy Bertha both of Chicago, Illinois, Mack Bertha of Allensville and Larry Bertha of Paducah; three sisters, Brenda Mimms of Owensboro, Delene Merriweather of Guthrie and Nancy Foster of Louisville; twelve grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation with the Bertha family will be on Thursday, October 5th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Pastor GC Morrow officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Allensville.
