Scarlett Smithson Hancock Carter, age 43 of Hopkinsville, passed away on Friday, July 22nd at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee of natural causes.
She was born July 18, 1979 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky the daughter of Butch Hancock and the late Myra Kay Smithson Hancock Place (2019).
She worked at The Place Restaurant in Hopkinsville, enjoyed traveling and loved her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Brian Carter; three sons, Wade Garrott Shaw, Landon Cole Snyder and Benjamin Gage Hancock; three daughters, Sydney Cate Shaw, Scarlett Reagan Snyder and Trystan Hadley Grace Hopper; her grandson, Levi Jace Lewis and her father, Butch Hancock all of Hopkinsville.
A celebration of Scarlett’s life will be held on August 6th from 6pm-9pm at Clayton’s, 119 E. 9th Street, Hopkinsville.
