Steve Blackaby

The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Steve Blackaby. 

Steve Blackaby, age 64 of Perry, Florida and formerly of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on September 18th at the Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, Florida. 

He was born April 21, 1959, in Nashville, Tennessee, son of Donald and Linnie Earps Blackaby. 

Steve was a United States Army Veteran and enjoyed painting.  

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linnie Blackaby. He is survived by his father, Donald Blackaby (Linda) of Luka, Mississippi; one son, Paul Wright of Memphis, Tennessee; one brother, Terry Blackaby (Sherrie) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and one sister, Teresa Lankford (Dewey) of Carthage, Tennessee.  Also surviving is one niece, Torre and three nephews, Tyler, Ryan and Nathan. 

Visitation with the Blackaby family will be held on Saturday, October 7th from 10:30 until service time at 12:00 at the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 5208 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37211.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 at the church with Brother Robert Dillingham and Terry Blackaby officiating.  A private inurnment will be held at a later date at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
