Sue Kathryn Kimbrough

Sue Kathryn Kimbrough, age 86 of Guthrie, passed away on Thursday, January 21^st at Ahava Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee of natural causes.

Sue was born June 6, 1934 in Montgomery County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Hubert F. and Minnie L. Guthrie Head.

She was a member of the First Christian Church. She loved her family, her beloved dog, Suzy and she enjoyed collecting bells.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Kimbrough Sr.; two sons, Charles R. Kimbrough Jr. and Hugh Reid Kimbrough; a daughter, Kathy Sue Kimbrough and a sister, Martha Jo Grant. She is survived by a son, John Keith Kimbrough (Glenna) of Clarksville; a sister, Edna June Talley of Madisonville; one granddaughter, Amanda Kannady and two great grandchildren, Jeremiah and Zoey Kannady.

Visitation with the family will be on Sunday from 12:00 until 1:30 at the Cook-Webb Funeral Home. There will be a Graveside Service on Sunday at 2:00 at the Highland Cemetery with Joe Carter officiating.

The family would like to say a special thank you to her caregivers, Geraldine Carter, Makka Wheeler, Mary Capen, Dorothy Shemwell and Regina Alexander. They also request that in lieu of flowers you make a donation to the American Humane Society or plant a tree in her memory on the funeral home website.

Mask will be required as well as social distancing and no hugging or shaking hands.
