The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Sue Morton.
Mrs. Sue Morton, age 75 of Elkton, Kentucky, passed away on Friday morning, May 3rd at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Mrs. Morton was born August 17, 1948, in Stewart County, Tennessee, daughter of the late Pearl Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her mother as well as her husband, Tommy Morton. She is survived by one son, Wayne Morton (Mollie) of Elkton; three daughters, Monica Massie of Elkton, April Harper of Guthrie and Andrea Morton Cosca (Pat) of Dayton, Ohio; three brothers, Robert Milam of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Mark Milam of Guthrie and Paul Milam of Elkton. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Dylan and Shelby Harper, Sean and Evan Gestrich, Hayley Cornell-Morton and Caroline Lyon.
Also affectionately known as "Mama Sue" she will be remembered for her hard work and sweet spirit. She was currently working at Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville, Tennessee and was the previous owner of the Southfork Restaurant in Elkton from 1986-1998. She was Baptist by faith, and she loved her family, friends, reading, casino trips and her two dogs, Little Bit and Cocoa.
Visitation with the Morton family will be held on Sunday afternoon, May 5, 2024, from 1:00 until service time at 3:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Reverend Clayton Miller officiating. Interment to follow at the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton.
