Wesley Wilson, age 75 of Elkton, passed away on Friday, April 1st at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee of natural causes.
He was born January 29, 1947 in Todd County, Kentucky the son of the late Thurston and Willie Evans Wilson.
He was a member of Pembroke Baptist Church, served in the United States Army and was a retired truck driver. He loved his family, friends, farming, fishing and traveling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Wilson and a sister, Mary Ann Martinez. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Wilson of Elkton; three sons, Glenn West (Tonja) of Pembroke, Jeff Wilson (Annette) of Trenton and Jamie Wilson (Mary) of Princeton; a daughter, Regina Byrns (Richard) of Sharon Grove; a brother, Joe Thomas of Madisonville; a sister, Brenda Farris (Joe) of Hopkinsville; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation with the Wilson family will be on Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday at 11:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Haley officiating. Interment will follow at the Kirkman Cemetery in Elkton.
