The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. William "Tee" Thomas Fuqua.
Mr. William "Tee" Thomas Fuqua, age 72 of Elkton, passed away on Thursday, November 23rd at his home.
"Tee" was born January 20, 1951, in Clarksville, Tennessee the son of Bob Fuqua and Thelma Kilgore.
In 1969, "Tee" graduated from Todd County Central High School. He then went on to work at Trane for 2 years before moving to Louisville, where he worked as an ITR Mechanic for over 30 years at Ford Motor Company. He was a member of St. Stephen Baptist Church. He loved his family and in his free time he enjoyed watching basketball and going on fishing trips with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Fuqua; stepfather, Horace Foster and four brothers, Clyde Fuqua, Willie Fuqua, John Fuqua and Carl Jeffrey Foster. He is survived by his mother, Thelma Foster of Elkton; two daughters, Tiara and Shanna Fuqua both of Louisville; two stepchildren, Anthony and Candice Newby both of Louisville; five sisters, Vivian Webb (Samuel) of Louisville, Georgia Diggs (Herbert) of Columbia, Tennessee, Dorothy Woods of Columbia, Tennessee, Angela Grinter (Larry) of Elkton and Oralene Day of Nashville, Tennessee and eight grandchildren.
Visitation with the Fuqua family will be held on Saturday, December 2nd from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Reverend Maurice Johnson officiating. Interment to follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Allensville.
