Amos Edwin Yoder

Mr. Amos Edwin Yoder, age 79 of Guthrie, passed away on Sunday morning June 28^th at his home.

He was born September 17, 1935 in Sumner County, Kansas the son of the late Enos and Susie Miller Yoder.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his first wife Elmina D. Beachy Yoder (1982) and one sister Dora Yoder Mast Byler.  He is survived by his wife Marjorie Miller Yoder of Guthrie; two sons Danny Yoder (Karen) and Enos Yoder (Mildred) all of Guthrie; four daughters Susie Yoder Beachy (Daniel) of Guthrie, Mary Ann Yoder Miller (Steve) of Crofton, Dora Yoder (Howard) of Crofton and Kathryn Yoder Graber (Loren) of Summersville, Missouri.  Also surviving are forty-three grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren.

Visitation with the Yoder family will be on Friday from 1:00 until 5:00 and again from 6:00 until 8:00 at the home of Danny Yoder, 2525 Old Trenton Road, Guthrie, Kentucky.  Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted on Saturday morning at 10:00 at the North District Amish Church, 1520 Elkton-Trenton Road, Guthrie, Kentucky with Bishop Andy Schlabach and Bishop Eli Burkholder officiating.  Interment will follow at the North District Amish Church Cemetery.
